Giclee Reproduction Packages
Reproduction package includes all the elements necessary to produce a finished giclee print. By ordering these elements together you are offered a discount and an easy to understand final price. For additional copies after the initial one, please refer to “Prices for Giclee”.
Portfolio Reproduction with Free Scan
Unbeatable value for students, for researchers and for interior decorators. Your artwork is digitally captured and the 8 bit file is adjusted for global color and exposure, cropped, and printed on fine art paper or canvas. Prints are enclosed in a mylar sleeve for protection. There is a charge of $25 to release the scan, however you may always reorder form Berkeley Giclee.
Standard Reproduction
Our most popular package consist of a high resolution 16 bit capture, ICC camera profile, cropping, global color and gamma adjustments, minimum image enhancements and clean up, 8x10 artist’s proof on fine art paper or canvas, and one finished print to specified size. (A 5x7 proof is made for the 9x12 size.) Prints are packaged in archival mylar sleeves with acid free 2 ply mount board. Board not included for sizes larger than 18x24. Also provided is a “Technical Specification” Sheet and “Archival Quality Certificate” from the paper manufacturer. Your files (in three resolutions) are recorded onto a standard CD-R and released to the artist.
Archive Editions
Berkeley Giclee’s best quality designed specifically for multiprint editions and long term archiving. The Archive Edition consist of all the elements of the Standard reproduction plus an additional round of testing, localized image correction, enhancement and repair, additional 8x10 artist’s proof and 100% size strip test for critical sharpness and color evaluation. Your file is recorded onto a “Gold Archive” CD-R at low speed with error check with printed report of CD accuracy and enclosed in a metal CD case with humidity indicator strip. The Gold Archive CD-R, made of 23 karat gold, is estimated to last 100 years. The Archive edition also includes a certificate of authenticity.
